Our faculty and student body are relatively small but growing and highly engaged in numerous disciplines, including social sciences, networks, machine learning, biology, temporal-spatial problems, and the environment.  We invite you to explore the wide range of activities in which the department is involved (People, Colloquia & Reports), consider opportunities through our graduate and undergraduate courses and programs of study, and utilize our Indiana Statistical Consulting Center.

Our teaching:
The field of statistics has a coherent body of theory, which students of the field master, as well as methodology designed for applied uses in many disciplines. The department teaches courses in both theoretical and applied statistics. Please click on "Courses" to the left for more information.
